A picture took on my camera when we went to the Klee Kai ranch in 2007. The blue-eyed is a boy, and the little brown-eyed is a girl. I'm delighted because I heard back from the breeder last night. Can't wait!
I was thinking of names. I still don't know if I would get a boy or a girl, but I feel like the urge to get a girl is stronger. If so, remember a few posts down when I was talking about the actress Saoirse? I bothered too look up about the name because I was so puzzled by the pronunciation and now I think it would be possibly a splendid name for a little female dog. The name Saoirse (Seer-sha) means "freedom" in Gaelic. Which I felt is symbolically accurate seeing as adopting a dog is the first thing I want to do when I graduate college. Just a simple thought though, I've thought of other names too. I thought Laika was nice, after the space dog and Arcade Fire's song about Alex and Laika, but then I started to get superstitious about it. And Shakespearean names are always fun, though you have to make sure you have a nickname the dog understands. Too many syllables and they won't get it!
